About our shrubs Shrubs are a centuries-old way of preserving fruit, combining vinegar, a touch of sugar, and whole fruit into a bright, versatile pantry staple. Ours begin with our award-winning apple cider vinegar, made from hand-picked apples and slowly aged in oak barrels for two years. We use whole fruit—not just juice—and just enough organic cane sugar to let the fruit shine.
