Primitive Beeswax Ornament Class
Join us in our Honey House to learn how to make Primitive Beeswax Ornaments this fall. Just in time for the holidays! Great for gifting, or displaying in your own home, we'll guide you step-by-step in crafting these unique blackened beeswax ornaments that harken from 16th century. We have more than 50 molds to choose from, all the Santas, Christmas trees, angels, cherubs, and more. Dusted with cinnamon and cloves, they smell just like Christmas. Plus we have a full selection of non-holiday molds: farm animals, Pennsylvania Dutch hearts, pollinators, springtime bunnies and fall turkeys. We hang them around the house year-round from doorknobs and drawer pulls. You'll make and take home four ornaments, and we'll show you how to recreate them at home with your family and friends. They range in size from 3 to 6 inches wide and are just as tall. Class is 2 hours. We always have light refreshments, but you are welcome to bring additional food and BYOB. If you have four or more people in your group but can't make our regularly scheduled offerings fit, call Anna at 908-377-1681 to inquire about scheduling a private class.
