Aniseed is extracted from the plant Pimpinella anisum and is known for a warm, sweet taste that is used to flavour many dishes. This green seed tastes like licorice and is a fragrant herb used in middle eastern and indian dishes like biryani and pickles. It lends its distinctive flavor and aroma to cooking and is also very useful in gas and indigestion when used in tea. These are naturally cultivated, hand-picked, dried and packed to preserve maximum fragrance and color. Vegan and Cruelty free, these can be kept for at least a year without issue.
