Antique Decorative Butter Dish

A pretty antique silver-plated butter dish with a rich, dark patina and a low, almost architectural silhouette. With minimal decoration, this charming piece relies on proportion, form, and patina for its appeal. Size: 18.5 cm (l) × 10.5 cm (w) × 5.5 cm (h) (8 cm height including handle). Origin: Europe. Material: Silver-plated. Age/Period: Late 19th / early 20th century – Late Victorian domestic silverplate. Condition: In perfect functional condition, with a strong aged patina on the exterior and several spots of oxidation.
