About the artwork The design has been adapted from the Impressionist oil painting 'Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies' (also known as The Japanese Footbridge) by Claude Monet (1840-1926), which features a dreamy view of a footbridge over a pond of pink water lilies amidst a lush green landscape. Monet created more than 200 water lily paintings in his life time, this is one from a series he began in 1899. Every effort has been made to reproduce the colours accurately in the product images but different computer monitors may display the colours slightly different to that of the received item.
