How to Use Arasilk Silk Paint Wash the fabric first to remove sizing and prepare the surface. Stretch silk or fabric on a suitable frame for better control. Apply the paint using a brush, dropper or pipette. Allow the artwork to dry. Iron Fixing: Iron the reverse side of the fabric for approximately 5 minutes. Oven Fixing: Alternatively, heat-set at 130°C for 5–10 minutes. After fixing, rinse gently in lukewarm water.
