A rare 35-year-old single malt from the closed Pittyvaich Distillery, bottled under the Whiskyland series after maturation in a first-fill sherry hogshead. At 44.3% ABV, this mature Speyside whisky delivers an elegant, richly fruited profile with classic old-school character. Tasting Notes Nose Soft and mature, with earthy tobacco, cedarwood and layers of dark dried fruit. Rich notes of sultanas, figs and prunes are joined by nuances reminiscent of well-aged Baco Armagnac. Palate Silky and exceptionally approachable, with the lower ABV allowing the flavours to unfold effortlessly. Jammy dark fruits, crystallised honey, fir resin and pipe tobacco create a wonderfully rich and traditional profile. Finish Medium in length, with herbal bitters, wormwood, camphor and waxy notes, followed by lingering waves of luscious dark fruit.
