Join us for our 7-week morning pottery course focusing on wheel throwing and hand-building techniques. Meeting once a week, this term course is designed to help you build your ceramic skills and confidence gradually at your own pace. Unwind in our "dirty hands mind spa" in the heart of Stockholm, embrace the calm of daytime studio light, and create your own handmade functional ceramics from start to finish. What You Will Learn Over 7 sessions, you will explore the full ceramic process: •Wheel Throwing: Centering clay, opening, pulling up walls, and shaping cylinders, bowls, and cups. •Trimming & Finishing: Refining your turned pieces, adding foot rings, and attaching handles. •Hand-Building Techniques: Pinching, coiling, and slab-building methods for creative forms. •Glazing & Decorating: Surface decoration techniques and applying glazes to transform your bisqueware into finished pieces. What to Bring / Good to Know •Please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, or bring an apron. •Keep fingernails trimmed short for the best wheel-throwing experience. ~Please bring a small towel for tool/hand drying.
