North African Greek Male (NAG45)

Hello! Please read this and feel free to send us your feedback. We are only sharing what we know! These are beautiful 4-6" Wild Collected Greek Tortoises. In the past we have advertised these as "Tunisian Greek Tortoises" (Testudo graeca nabeulensis) The reason we do not list them as Libyan Greek Tortoises (Testudo graeca Cyrenaica) is because after seeing shipments of both Libyan Greeks and this smaller species we can absolutely say that they uniformly come in at 4-6" while the Libyan Greeks uniformly show up much much larger. Now, with that being said I believe the science on exactly what this species is probably needs some more research. Perhaps they are a naturally occurring integrate of nabeulensis and Cyrenaica, maybe a completely different species altogether or maybe for some reason they are uniformly small Cyrenaica. Whatever they are, they are beautiful. These are feeding very well.
