SEPTEMBER: Magic September

This month, at Mousehole Farm, Margot has found a shady spot beneath the mushrooms where she can relax with her book. Of course, when you hit a certain age, as soon as you open a book you start dozing-- so here she is, with Laundry and Lintball beneath a forest of mushrooms you can decorate according to your imagination. Welcome to 'The Months at Mousehole Farm'... a full year (12 primitive patterns) that will be interlocking and filled with holiday and seasonal storytelling, revolving around the year at Mousehole Farm with Margot Mouse and her two dogs, Laundry and Lintball. The pattern is 11" x11". At the end of the year I will record a video sewing these together into one tapestry. The kits are sold independently and are limited edition. I am using overdyes and hand painted wools; each kit comes with the pattern on linen, a set of 'Crazy 8's' that's unique to this month, and all the #5 cut strips to complete this rug. You will find a bunch of videos, every month, showing the progress, and tips for each pattern that I think beginner's will find useful and fun.
