Senior's Pottery workshop: Make a Whimsical Candy Dish

Date: July 14, 2026 Duration: 3 Hours Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Seniors' Price: $34.95 + HST Regular Price: $89.95 + HST Instructor: Katie Argyle Description: Create a Whimsical Candy Dish Designed with seniors in mind, this fun and beginner-friendly pottery workshop will guide you through creating your own Whimsical Candy Dish using hand-building techniques. Personalize your piece with textures, patterns, colours, or hand-drawn designs to make it uniquely yours. Your finished candy dish will be food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. After the workshop, we will apply a clear food-safe glaze and fire your creation in our kilns. Your piece will be ready for pickup approximately two weeks after the workshop. Please Note: This workshop is generously subsidized through the New Horizons for Seniors Program, allowing participants aged 55 and older to register at the reduced rate of $34.95 + HST. Participants under the age of 55 are welcome to join at the regular registration price of $89.95 + HST. Please bring a valid photo ID to confirm eligibility for the senior rate.
