Frames, Wood, Unassembled without Foundation (Wedge or Groove)

Wedge frames are to be used with wax and wire. Groove frames are to be used with plastic inserts. Frames play a vital role in providing structural support for the honeycomb used by honeybees for both egg laying and food storage. These frames, along with a beeswax foundation, are meticulously assembled and positioned within the hive body or super, making them an integral component of the beehive. Within the super, frames can be easily removed from the beehive for the extraction of honey, catering to consumer needs. Alternatively, beekeepers have the option to cut and consume honeycomb in its natural form. Following the honey extraction process, frames are returned to the beehive, allowing honeybees to replenish their honey stores for future extraction.
