Dwarf Apple Tree Starter Collection
Planting dwarf trees is the modern way to plant an orchard. We can graft any apple tree onto a dwarf rootstock- limiting its growth and taking up a limited space. This grafting method is perfect for individuals who do not have much yard space or want to grow trees in containers. A dwarf rootstock can be a B.9, M.9-337, G.11, or Pajam 2 among others. The tree in the image below is a B.9 Snowsweet. Dwarf trees are no more difficult to plant than other apple trees. Here is a collection to start you off. These trees are in the Field Ready size. Updated for Availability 8.8.2026 Whitney Crabapple G.41 Wolf River G.11 Honeycrisp Pajam 2 Snowsweet B.9 These trees can be planted as close as 3' though we recommend no less than 8' but no more than 25' for pollination.
