Every CDP ships complete with mounted nano pre-filters and after-filters to protect the desiccant and lock in air quality. How a heatless desiccant dryer works Wet compressed air enters the online tower and flows up through a bed of activated alumina desiccant, which adsorbs water vapor and produces ultra-dry air. A small portion of the dried air is diverted as purge to regenerate the offline tower at atmospheric pressure, stripping moisture from the desiccant. The towers alternate on a fixed cycle, so one tower is always drying while the other regenerates, giving continuous ultra-dry output. Mounted pre-filtration removes bulk liquid and aerosols upstream, while after-filtration captures desiccant fines downstream.
