This large, fine stitched, reversible vintage kantha quilt in a glorious mustard and pink floral pattern was hand crafted from layers of vintage sari fabric hand stitched together with tiny kantha (running) stitches. Traditionally made in Bengal, India, this kantha quilt is around 15-30 years old, a beautiful example of a living tradition. As each vintage kantha quilt is completely one of a kind, once it's sold, it's gone for good! This one is a delightful combination of different patterns and prints. It’s super soft, a light to medium weight with fine hand stitching and a large size with very few signs of use. SIZE: 215cm x 150cm (84" x 59") Perfect to drape over the end of a UK double bed (US full) as shown. This size will also just fit a UK King (US Queen).
