Earring length measured from ear hook. Sarah Brooks of Tucson Tannery is a hide tanner specializing in bark-tanned leathers and furs. She learned to tan deer hide around a decade ago in Scotland, and has been honing her craft ever since, with a focus on bark tanning and smoke tanning. All Sarah's creations are made with leather she hand-tans from the hides of Arizona deer, cows, coyotes, javelinas and more, using traditional methods and natural materials.
