With exceptionally deep seating and substantial construction, this is a superb Tetrad set designed for relaxed, luxurious everyday living. ⸻ Design & Upholstery The Grande features substantial deep-buttoned arms, side panels and outer sections upholstered in thick quality genuine leather hide, giving the sofa its distinctive character and impressive presence. The leather has developed a naturally aged appearance with variations in tone and patina that complement the relaxed vintage styling of the sofa. The generously sized seat cushions are upholstered in a lighter grey woven wool, providing a beautiful contrast against the leather surrounds. A particularly attractive finishing detail is the genuine leather piping around the seat cushions, made from the same leather hide used to upholster the arms and surrounding panels. This carefully ties the contrasting materials together. The exceptionally deep sofa uses a luxurious scatter-back arrangement with soft chenille cushions, complemented by contrasting dark blue accent cushions. The thick leather hide displays natural ageing, creasing, colour variation, occasional marks and areas of sun fading. The Grande has experienced noticeable sun fading, with one side having faded more than the other, creating variations in the shade of the leather. This can be clearly seen in the photographs and contributes to the naturally aged and distressed appearance of the hide. The woven wool upholstery presents well overall, although there are a few pulls to the fabric. One area of the back upholstery has also had a previous stitched repair, and the stitching remains visible. This has been photographed clearly for complete transparency. The chenille scatter cushions, decorative cushions and paisley design footstool present well overall. The sofa remains substantial, solid and exceptionally comfortable, with wonderfully generous seating.
