Mirador de Son Marroig, Valdemossa, Mallorca, 1998. [Fomento del Turismo]. Part of a special three-poster release to mark the total solar eclipse of 12 August 2026, alongside Puesta de sol en Sa Foradada and Molinos y sol poniente. Three vintage Mallorcan posters, remastered and relaunched in collaboration with the Fomento del Turismo de Mallorca from its historic archive. Mirador de Son Marroig — Viewpoint at Son Marroig — was photographed by Eduardo Millares in 1996 from the beautiful arched terrace built by Archduke Ludwig Salvator. Beyond its balustrade, the dramatic coastline of the Serra de Tramuntana stretches towards Sa Foradada and the open western horizon — one of Mallorca's most spectacular places from which to watch the setting sun.
