7th September Spot Whiskey Tasting

We're being treated to a tasting from one of the best known series of pot still whiskies out there! September 7th Spot Whiskey from Mitchell & Son are coming to Cut Your Wolf Loose. The Spot range has been around in one form or another since Mitchell & Son started bonding whiskey in Dublin in the late 1800s. The famous coloured spots originally marked the age of the whiskey in the cask, and over the years the family has managed to keep the range alive through Irish whiskey's various ups, downs and near-death experiences. We'll be getting stuck into a selection of the Spots, exploring what makes single pot still Irish whiskey such a cracking style, from the fruity and spicy Green Spot through to some of the bigger, bolder expressions further up the colour chart.
