A large contemporary overmantel mirror finished in a gilt-style paint with a carved decorative top panel and bevelled glass. The frame has an aged finish with fine surface speckling and areas of light wear to the paint that suit a relaxed, lived-in interior. Dimensions Width: 99cm Depth: 3cm Height: 145cm Condition Structurally sound and ready to hang. The gilt paint finish shows surface wear including small marks, scratches and light scuffs throughout the frame, most visible on edges and raised mouldings. The bevelled glass is intact with no visible cracks. Wear appears consistent with a contemporary piece finished with an intentionally aged surface and with normal use.
