We've taken that sleek silhouette and conservative tilt profile, reminiscent of classic single fins from the '60s and '70s, and optimally tweaked it with an updated foil and flex profile for modern performance. A product of a collective effort alongside Devon Howard and Britt Merrick, this fin was created with the CI Tri Plane Hull mid-length in mind, a board that combines a Greenough-style hull for planing with Al Merrick's egg-shaped outline and CI's modern-style rail and rocker profiles. But the fin isn't limited to this board design; it works really well on a variety of mid-sized boards.
