Monks Morrocan Garbanzo Bean

Cicer arietinum A “desi” type garbanzo bean which has purple flowers and produces dark orange colored beans. Has been consistently productive for us, ripening and then holding well on dried stocks. “Desi” type garbanzo beans originate in southern Asia. Desi means local in hindi/ urdu. This type of garbanzo is used whole but also commonly split into chana and ground into besan. We received this variety from seed keeper Rowen White. 40 seeds/ packet
