Before purchasing, measure the clearance between the bottom of your door and the floor. The recommended door gap is: 0.39–1.38 inches (10–35 mm) Test the alarm before each use and replace the battery if the alarm sound becomes weak or stops working. This product provides an additional alert and deterrent. It is not a replacement for a properly installed door lock or other appropriate security measures.
