FRENCH LITHOGRAPH - FOUR These prints come from an original book of lithographs by the French artist Alain Bonnefoit (b. 1937), widely regarded as one of the most celebrated contemporary painters of the female form. I originally bought the complete book to keep a selection of the prints for my own home, but I've simply run out of wall space and would rather these remaining pieces be enjoyed than kept in storage. The colours are beautifully rich, with a softness and depth that make them striking both on their own and as part of a gallery wall. As these prints were originally bound within the book, each one has a vertical crease through the centre where it was folded. This is part of their original presentation and has been reflected in the price. This particular print depicts a bold female figure in vibrant shades of green and red. A small white mark on top right corner and crease in bottom right corner but only seen when looking up close. Measures L55 x H 37.5cm
