Zaalberg Ceramic Dish/Bowl (Red)

This Zaalberg ceramic dish is a beautiful example of Dutch pottery with a rich history. Zaalberg was founded in Zoeterwoude in 1918 and became known for its distinctive handmade ceramics and functional tableware. The simple bowl shaped dish, with a stunning finish which differs from colour with different lighting and it almost looks like there is a metal sheen. A versatile addition to the table, whether used as a small plate, serving dish or bowl, and just as lovely displayed on its own. It's marked on the bottom and in great condition.
