After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, he moved to Israel in 1959 and later established his studio in Paris. Briss developed a unique artistic language that bridges Byzantine icons, folk tale symbolism, Jewish mysticism, and modern European surrealism. His works have been exhibited worldwide and are held in major private and museum collections across Europe, Israel, and the United States.
