Network player, DAC and balanced preamplifier The Eversolo DMP-A10 is the brand's flagship: it brings together a network streamer, a digital-to-analogue converter and a fully balanced preamplifier in a single chassis. It can drive a pair of power amplifiers or active speakers with no additional preamp, while centralising the system's digital and analogue sources. The whole thing sits in a CNC-machined aluminium chassis with two separate linear power supplies, one dedicated to the audio section, the other to the system side. ES9039PRO conversion and dual OCXO clocks Conversion is handled by an ESS Sabre ES9039PRO chip with HyperStream IV architecture, paired with an XMOS XU-316 USB interface. The DMP-A10 accepts PCM streams up to 768 kHz/32-bit, native DSD512 and MQA. Two oven-controlled OCXO clocks keep jitter below 50 femtoseconds, for a stated signal-to-noise ratio of 130 dB. Balanced preamplifier and R-2R volume control Volume is handled by an analogue R-2R relay ladder that acts directly on the signal, with no reduction in digital resolution. The preamplifier stage is fully balanced and can deliver up to +10 dB of analogue gain, enough to properly drive a low-sensitivity amplifier. The RCA and XLR analogue inputs let you use the DMP-A10 as the system's central preamplifier for a phono stage with built-in preamp, a CD player or any other line-level source. Full connectivity and system integration On the digital side, the network player offers two coaxial inputs, two optical inputs, a galvanically isolated USB-B audio input and an HDMI ARC input for TV sound. The coaxial, optical and USB audio digital outputs can feed an external DAC, with the DDC function handling format conversion. The RCA and XLR analogue outputs are complemented by two dedicated subwoofer outputs, and networking runs over Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi or an SFP fibre port. A 12 V trigger in/out and a grounding terminal make it easy to fit into an existing hi-fi installation. Screen, control, streaming and room correction The unit is operated from its 6.5-inch colour LCD touchscreen, backed by a circular display built into the volume knob that shows the level in dB and the active input. The native Android system and Eversolo's in-house EOS audio engine give access to Roon Ready, AirPlay 2, DLNA, TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music. Two M.2 NVMe slots taking up to 4 TB each can host a local library, while the 10-band parametric equaliser and Eversolo's room correction — performed with a measurement microphone — adapt playback to the listening room.
