Double Apogee brings together two sweeping sculptural forms in stainless steel and kiln-formed glass, rising to 2.4 metres at their highest point. The contrasting heights create a strong relationship between the two forms, while panels of layered glass introduce flowing lines of turquoise, blue and soft green. Set within the brushed stainless steel, the glass catches and changes with the light, revealing different colours, textures and details throughout the day. Elegant but substantial, Double Apogee combines Carrie-Anne Funnell's distinctive use of glass with the strength and precision of stainless steel to create a striking contemporary sculpture for gardens, landscaped grounds and architectural settings.
