Strawberries with Just a Splash

Strawberries with Just a Splash — Oil on panel, 9 x 12 inches Strawberries falling into a glass of milk, mid-splash, caught right at the moment of impact. I spent way too long getting that splash to look believable. I've painted strawberries before, and I'll probably paint them again — but every time, I swear it's the last time. Painting the seeds is a test of whether I've learned anything in ten years of painting. (I have not.)
