This Model is a detailed replica of the late 1930s Grumman design amphibious seaplane in particular the J2F6 was a 1941 update manufactured by Columbia Aircraft Corps. They could fly four; 2 crew and 2 passengers at 190 mph. The model includes accurate paint scheme of a 1940's war period J2F6 including US Navy Designators and "J.2.F.6" painted on the tail rudder.
