100% Frontenac Gris New York, USA Vineyard: Swedish Hill - Finger Lakes. "Rosato" style wine from grey-pink hybrid grape Frontenac Gris. Red fruit, strawberry, with zippy acidity. Orange pineapple fruit punch vibes with a saline character. Three week partial skin contact fermentation. Pressed off into stainless steel. Lees aged for 1 year. Unfined, unfiltered. NO ADDED SULFUR, VEGAN. 120 total cases produced. Brett Volker is Field Supply Wines, based in the upper Hudson Valley. While newly-planted vines mature on his home vineyard, he is working with sustainable and organic New York farmers to source high-quality grapes. Brett is originally from Australia, but moved to New York for work in the music industry. Field supply believes that wine lives at the intersection of art, agriculture, and design; a living experiment in how creativity can root itself in soil. All wines are fermented with native yeasts, minimal intervention and the only additives are small amounts of sulfur, when necessary.
