Over the years I have seen dozens of Tacoma's come through the shop that have either rust damage or stress to the frame just behind the front suspension. This kit reinforces that area to mitigate damage and strengthen the factory frame to prevent future failure! This pairs perfectly if you have a long travel kit and are looking for some extra frame strength, custom suspension like solid front axle, or have rust damage and are looking for a repair piece. You will need to have fabrication skills to install. You will also need a large C clamp to force the frame plates to the curve of the frame.
