The Unicorn

The Unicorn head Following on from the Stag Head, the Unicorn was created. Again, there were quite a few makes to get the size and shape that I wanted. The horn and ears were made several times to get the size and positioning right, as well as the ‘fringe’ and mane. I still love making this Unicorn Head, so many lovely fabrics and yarn colour ways to try out! For this project you will need to provide: ♦ Main fabric, calico and fusible web: 48cm x 65cm. ♦ 1 x hollow fibre pillow or equivalent. ♦ 15cm x 15cm felt for the horn. ♦ Yarn ♦ Tape 18cm x 2.5cm. ♦ 1 x ‘o’ ring, for hanging the head. ♦ Cardboard to support the head.
