Breathless

Breathless captures the unseen energy that moves quietly beneath the surface of the earth - the living pulse within mountains, minerals, and shifting terrain. Two abstracted mountain forms rise within the composition, grounded yet fluid, while a radiant sun hovers above, acting as a source of life force, warmth, and continual renewal. Built through layered washes of archival inks, the work reveals a cross-section of the land - as though the viewer is peering inside the mountain itself. Organic forms and flowing contours suggest erosion, pressure, and deep time, while intricate linework traces the pathways of energy moving through the landscape.
