Rauno Lähteenmäki Ring
14k Gold & Diamond Ring by Rauno Lähteenmäki, Finland This beautifully crafted modernist ring in solid 14k gold features a small square-set diamond in a white gold bezel. Its organic, sculptural openwork setting is complemented by textured shoulders and a polished band, creating a distinctive architectural design with subtle Brutalist influences. It was made in 1969 by Turku-based jeweller Rauno Lähteenmäki, whose workshop was registered from 1952 to 1989. This band is fully stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: 'RL'(designer/maker), heart motif (Finland) '585' (14k gold) town motif (Turku/Abo) & 'Q7' (year). There is a personal engraving. It is in excellent vintage condition. The stone sits firmly in the setting and the band retains its original shape well. The diamond has been tested. This ring is a small/medium size. It is an AU size L 1/2 (EU 51 & US 6) with an internal diameter of 16.41 mm. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. The band can be resized.
