Château Cantenac-Brown is a notable wine estate located in Margaux, on the left bank of the Gironde river in Bordeaux. It was established in the early 19th Century and was classified as a third growth in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc and Graves. The 2006 vintage was considered very good for the red wines of Bordeaux, but stoped just short of being excellent. Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. 75cl bottle. Abv 13% Bottle condition, capsule good, label good, wine level in neck Tasting Note 19/07/2025 -92 Points Deep ruby with hints of garnet emerging. Pronounced aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, violets, cedar, vanilla, dried fruits. High acidity, high fine-grained tannins. Long finish. This is outstanding.
