The iRay RL25 is a compact, multi-purpose thermal monocular that delivers the versatile Rico Micro experience in a more accessible package. The RL25 shares the same tiny form factor and feature-rich design as its sibling the RH25, and is equally capable as a handheld scanner, helmet-mounted monocular, or weapon sight, but comes in at a significantly lower price. Where the RH25 runs a 640×480 sensor core, the RL25 features a 384×288 thermal core, still more than capable of positively identifying heat signatures at practical hunting and observation distances. Images are projected onto a 1440×1080 AMOLED display and are viewable in 7 color palettes. For those new to thermal, the RL25 is an excellent entry point into the Rico Micro platform, delivering real, multi-role thermal capability in a compact package without the full investment of a 640-core unit.
