This 2019 Custom Dreadnought hails from the Fayetteville-based workshop of Bayard Blaine, complete with jaw-dropping tone woods and a multiscale construction. Equipped with an Adirondack Spruce top and a gorgeous set of Quilted Sapele back & sides, this boutique dread immediately stands out tonally and visually. The fanned frets are the unique feature here, providing a 25.5" to 24.5" multi-scale length for maximum comfortability in the tension between the heaviest and thinnest strings. Other high-grade aesthetic features include the flamed maple binding all along the body, fingerboard, and headstock, tiger stripe guard, and tortoise bridge pins. The cutaway allows for access to the higher frets, perfect for play in the solo register, and the player-side sound port is a wonderful addition for personal monitoring. This build has come to us in Very Good condition, with some playwear to the guard pick scratches on the top around the soundhole. As well as a knick to the front of the headstock and lower bout's binding, and various small dents to the top.
