A natural labradorite rough specimen from Tabor Island, Nain, Labrador, Canada. The original place where labradorite was first discovered and named after. Weighing 181 grams, this piece has two sides cut revealing some labradorescence on the surface under natural sunlight, with the other sides left raw. Completely natural and untreated. Erik acquired an old collection of Canadian minerals in August of 2025, including the rough labradorite from Tabor Island, Nain, Labrador. The labradorite was mined between 1989 and 1993 and sourced directly from one of the original miners. Erik is releasing a limited collection of rough specimens from this old-stock labradorite, rarely available on the market today.
