Also great as feeders as our cull shrimps do not carry diseases like with other feeder shrimp available in the market. Cull shrimp are healthy shrimp that simply do not meet our preferred colour, pattern or grading standards for individually sold colour varieties. Their appearance can vary considerably — shrimp may be pale, translucent, brownish, mixed-coloured or display inconsistent markings. They are an excellent choice for small, peaceful community tanks, particularly where shrimp tend to spend much of their time hiding amongst plants, moss, rocks and driftwood and strong ornamental colour is not a priority.
