Bay Laurel Berry Oil

Extracted from the ripe berries of the Laurus nobilis tree, this viscous oil has been used in Cyprus for centuries to soothe skin disorders, support circulation, and strengthen hair. Traditionally it was used to give black color, shine, and density to the hair, but also to treat hair loss. In addition, it was believed that the juice from the pounded laurel berries also strengthened and darkened the hair. The juice was applied to the scalp and, after some time, was washed off. Laurel berry oil is also an essential ingredient in Aleppo soap. Use it by itself or in a blend. We blend the Bay Laurel Berry Oil into both our body and hair oil formulas.
