Wake the F' Up! takes that beautiful combination of rose, oud, praline and vanilla and hits it with a massive dose of Coffee Absolute. Not a hint of coffee. Not a suggestion. COFFEE. It opens dark and intense, with deep roasted coffee crashing into rich, smoky oud. Then the rose starts to come through—lush, velvety and slightly sweet—before everything melts into a decadent base of praline, vanilla and warm woods. The sweetness is there, but the coffee keeps it from becoming too pretty or too gourmand. It adds bitterness, darkness and a slightly dirty edge that completely changes the personality of the fragrance. Think dark rose, my gorgeous oud from Singles, roasted coffee and warm praline all tangled together. Notes: coffee, oud and smoky guaiac wood softened by the enveloping sweetness of sandalwood & tonka bean. I added a praline accord, as well as a slight hint of rose & jasmine note (a floral scent fragrance at all) for added dimension.
