THE SWEET TEA & MAHJ MINI LEAGUE is the inaugural league at HOUSE OF SWEET TEA & MAHJ! Join us for some fun and friendly competition on Thursday nights starting August 20. This 5-week league is beginner friendly and is intended to help players of all levels build skills, make friends, and share in the love of all things MAHJ! What to Expect: Friendly Competition for ALL Levels of Play Doors open at 6:30. Play begins promptly at 7:00. Table selection will be randomized. Scores will be collected for 4 rounds of play. We will follow NMJL rules, and players are expected to win and lose with grace. Prizes: All players will receive a welcome bag and compete for the GRAND PRIZE- A TRAVEL TILE SET FROM MY FAIR MAHJONG! All Materials Provided- We supply the tables, premium tiles, mats, mahjong cards, dice, and shufflers. BONUS- On league nights, players will receive 15% off retail mahjong items. BYOB: Alcoholic beverages are BYOB. Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are included. Whether you learned to play mahjong with us or you learned elsewhere, we would love to host you for MINI LEAGUE!
