Hanalei Moon - Tenor Solid Kaua'i Koa Ukulele, Heirloom limited edition
This beautiful heirloom ukulele is named after the famous song "Hanalei Moon" written in 1974 by Bob Nelson and was popularized by Don Ho and Dennis Pavao, to name only a few. This solid Kaua'i koa ukulele is embellished with mother of pearl depicting the moon behind the majestic Mount Makana (known as Bali Hai in the 1958 film South Pacific) on the edge of Hanalei Bay, with waves of mother of pearl around the sound hole and down the ebony fretboard, depicting the famous Hanalei Pier. A mahogany neck provides smooth playability and the Low G string setup highlights the rich low end of the koa tone wood.
