Vintage Sosaku Kokeshi made by Shouzan Shido (1932-1995) She has a great natural look. The Kokeshi is wearing a mino. Master Shido was born in 1932 and raised in Oita Prefecture, where he began creating Kokeshi in 1957. His creative works were recognized with numerous awards such as the Prime Minister's Award.
