A lovely muted handwoven Turkish rug featuring an intricate garden-style design in soft washed sage, dusty rose, muted cocoa, stone, and pale olive tones. Woven in Anatolia, this piece has that quietly luxurious feel only time can create, full of character without ever feeling overly formal. The design is densely detailed with scrolling botanical motifs, stylised tulips, curling vines, and an oversized central medallion that almost dissolves into the field through decades of natural wear. There’s something very elevated about the palette, earthy and romantic, but softened into near-neutral territory, making it incredibly easy to style in contemporary interiors. It has a slightly faded grandeur to it, somewhere between old-world textile art and relaxed European modernism. The kind of rug that grounds a room instantly without shouting for attention. Handwoven from wool with a beautifully aged low pile and soft vintage patina developed over decades of use. Durable, timeless, and made to be lived with for many more years. In excellent vintage condition, with no holes or tears. Professionally cleaned and ready for its new home.
