Scarce Enzo Mari 'Adal' 90061 WI Fruit Bowl 1968 / 1997

Adal 90061 WI fruit bowl by Enzo Mari designed 1968 for Danese Milano later a limited edition reissue by Alessi Officina made in Italy 1997. The bowl is characterized by its simple, angular form: a single-piece of thermoformed white PVC featuring vertical sides that bend over into a central depression a minimalist bowl representing post-war Italian design. Enzo Mari exemplifies his radical approach to everyday design; transforming a simple household item into a bold, sculptural statement. An exceptional piece with original box and paperwork, a must for any design collection and very hard to find. Included in many a museum collection and goes for $$$ at auction (the black version went for $2k recently).
