July 1 – September 30 The Living Buteyko Book Circle is a three-month summer self-study program created to support the completion of Sasha Yakovleva’s long-awaited Buteyko book, begun in 2009. As a Supporter, you will receive access to both foundational and advanced Buteyko study materials along with selected early book excerpts, brief writing updates, access to a private Book Circle community, optional acknowledgment in the finished book, and a copy when the book is complete. This book carries something that feels increasingly important to preserve. Sasha was fortunate to study the Buteyko Method from its original source, at the Buteyko Clinic in Moscow. Through this training and through her connection with people who practiced directly under the supervision of Dr. K.P. Buteyko and his family — she received teachings, stories, and behind-the-scenes knowledge that have not been available to the public. Dr. Buteyko and his family were deeply concerned that, over time, the method would be simplified in order to make it more commercial - diluted, separated from its deeper physiological, psychological, and spiritual foundations, and reduced to a few breathing techniques. Part of Sasha’s intention in completing this book is to help preserve this living lineage of knowledge. She brings to it not only what she received from the original Russian source, but also decades of personal and professional experience applying the method with students and clients, adults and children around the world. This is not just a book about improving breathing. It is an effort to protect, clarify, and pass on a body of knowledge before it fades further from its roots — and to make it alive, accessible, and useful for people today. What is included in this program 1. Access to the Advanced Buteyko Course You will receive access to the Advanced Buteyko Self-Study Course, currently valued at $500.One of the most valuable parts of the Advanced Buteyko Course is that it contains original video teachings, stories, and personal experiences shared by Ludmila Buteyko and A. Sasha promised Ludmila that she would do her best to preserve the original knowledge of the Buteyko Method and share it through her own experience. 2. Buteyko Breathing Step-by-step video course The program is open to everyone, including beginners. For those who are new to the method, Sasha will also include access to her Buteyko Breathing Step-by-Step course, so you can begin with the foundations before moving into more advanced material. 3. Selected early excerpts from the Buteyko book During the summer, Sasha will share selected excerpts from the book as they become ready. These may include chapters, stories, teachings, reflections, or sections that are still in development. You will be able to read parts of the book before it is released to the public. Your participation in the Book Circle will also create a supportive structure of accountability. This is not access to the full unfinished manuscript. Not yet. It is early access to selected sections that Sasha feels ready to share with the Book Circle. 4. Private Book Circle Community You will be invited into a private online space where selected book excerpts will be shared throughout the summer. As you read, you are welcome to leave reflections, questions, memories, and suggestions. Your insights may help shape the final version of the book. This is one of the reasons the program is called The Living Buteyko Book Circle. 5. Supporter status As a participant, you will be part of the first circle of people supporting the completion of this book. This is not just a purchase. It is participation in the birth of a long-awaited Buteyko book. 6. Optional name in the acknowledgments Supporters may choose to have their names included in the acknowledgments section of the finished book. This is optional. If you prefer privacy, your name will not be included. 7.
