Ancient Recipe: LIMITED EDITION

After long-term natural aging, young green tea gradually matures, developing the distinctive character and charm of a well-aged raw pu'er tea. This shows up as a tea liquor that is deep red and brilliantly clear; a pronounced aroma reminiscent of old wood, transformed from the floral and fruity notes of young raw tea; and a flavor that is sweet, crisp, smooth, and full-bodied, with strong returning sweetness and a lingering raw-tea backbone. The infused leaves are bright reddish-brown. This tea is made from leaves harvested from ancient tea trees over 200 years old in Lincang, Yunnan, China. After picking, the tea is transported to Guangzhou—approximately 1,300 km (800 miles) away—where it has been aged continuously since 2004. Guangzhou’s climate is significantly hotter and more humid than Yunnan’s. These conditions drive deep, proper aging, allowing this raw pu’er to naturally ferment over time. That transformation is evident in the cup: rich, smooth, and fully developed.
