Leonard, H.L. - 7' 2/2 4wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an H.L. Leonard 7' 2/2 4wt bamboo rod in excellent original condition. Serial #2291, no indication of model but probably a 38 or 38H. Wheatstraw colored cane with dark red wraps and black accents. Blued 11/64 ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are straight, full length & serialized. Strap & ring hook keeper, 5.5" cork grip and bright cap & ring reel seat over cork spacer. Weight is 2.92oz. Action on the medium side of medium fast, a delightful small stream taper from the Leonard Ausauble series. The cork has a bit of soiling from honest use, and the reel seat spacer has some indentation from the ring. A fine example, ready to fish.
